Community Space

Welcome to the heart of our event: the Community Space, where we bring together London’s vibrant pub culture, passionate brewers, artists, influencers, and YOU—the community. This is more than just an event; it’s a collective celebration of the people, stories, and traditions that make British pubs so iconic. We believe in fostering connections that go beyond a pint of beer. Here, you'll discover how we engage with our community, and how you can become a part of this rich cultural experience.

At its core, our event is about bringing people together—celebrating the rich legacy of British pubs, supporting local businesses, and fostering a sense of belonging through shared stories, experiences, and interactions. We invite you to become a part of this cultural journey and help us preserve and celebrate the tradition of British pubs for generations to come.

Use our hashtag, #IBrewBritain, to share your own pub stories, photos, and videos. We want to see your favorite pub experiences, and we’ll be featuring the best ones on our official social channels!

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging

At our event, we are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone can develop a deeper appreciation for the craft of beer. We believe beer is for everyone, and through this event, we hope to bring together people with a shared interest in craft brewing, regardless of their background or preferences. To ensure a sense of belonging, we invite guests to share any dietary restrictions when purchasing tickets, allowing us to accommodate their needs so they can fully enjoy the experience. Our diverse beer selection reflects this commitment to inclusivity, offering a range of styles and flavors so that every beer lover can find something they enjoy. This event isn’t just about tasting beer—it’s about building connections, fostering community, and celebrating the artistry behind brewing in a space where all feel welcome and valued. We are proud to create a shared experience where everyone leaves with a newfound appreciation for beer and the community that surrounds it.

Corporate Social Responsibility

At our cultural event at The Pelican, we are deeply committed to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We decided to work only with locals that source their products sustainably. For example all the food catering comes from farms no further away that Leeds. This helps us massively reduce our carbon footprint and helps keep our water and air nice and clean. We’ve taken steps to eliminate single-use plastics at the pub by using glass and ceramics. For take aways we opted for a compostable material that breaks down after a few months. By working with eco-conscious partners, we’re ensuring this event not only celebrates British pub culture but also leads the way in responsible and sustainable event practices.
